White Sand Beach, Ko Bulon Le

BEACH
White Sand Beach is one of the most photogenic beaches in the area and almost perfect. Especially the northern part of the beach is beautiful because of its wide and fine sandy beach with clear turquoise water, ideal for snorkeling.

Pay attention to the swimming condition! Dead coral at low tide makes swimming difficult. But no need to worry, by walking briefly toward the east you can swim again – regardless of the tide. Another solution, of course, is to bring your water shoes.

The southern part of the beach is still beautiful and has fine, almost white powdery sand and clear water. At high tide there is not much beach left and at low tide you have to walk a few minutes north to swim. The best place to swim at low tide is in front of the school.

WHERE TO STAY
Located on a beautiful part of the beach, Bulone Resort is a good place to stay. Here, you will find great mid-range bungalows. Electricity is available from late afternoon to early morning. We also love staying at the Marina Resort, just behind the Bulone Resort and only a 2-minute walk away from the beach. They have nice budget bamboo bungalows. Electricity is available from late afternoon to midnight.

A alternative is the Bulonhill Resort, a 3-minute walk away from the beach. Another good alternative is the mid-range Pasand Resort more south, with wooden bungalows on the south side of the beach that have electricity available all night. Both stays are located directly on the beach.

Near the beach is a good choice of small restaurants.
