BEACH
Saeng Arun Beach in the Thap Sakae Region, is a beautiful, relaxed and 10 kilometers long. This area has a laid-back and traditional Thai atmosphere. The locals engage in traditional fishing and farming and the district’s culture reflects these rural traditions.
This is the perfect place to relax in your hammock, enjoy the view over the Gulf of Thailand and then take a dip in the sea. The sea is usually calm, but with easterly winds the waves can become higher.
WHERE TO STAY
The further north you go, the quieter the beach becomes. Tub Beach Resort and Mumsa are mid-range stays, 8 kilometers south of the Huay Yang village, and are both good places to go. The bungalows are in a cozy environment on a beautiful and nice part of the beach. If you prefer a swimming pool Sea & Sea Villa Resort Sangaroon is the place to go.
All stays have a restaurant, and along the road there are some small restaurants and food stands. Or you go to the small restaurants in Huay Yang.
